Fuelled with a passion of empathy and compassion, these two individuals began to feed on May 18th 1996, 30 people a week Manna Ministries was born. From a small beginning Manna has now served its 300,000th meal, has two main programs consisting of Street Work ‘Soup Kitchen’, and Manna Breakfast Clubs.

In 2005 Manna Ministries was Incorporated into Manna Industries Inc. and now feeds over 600 street people a week, and feeds 320 school children a week. With all the programs Manna is involved, the percentage of aboriginal participation is approximately 70%.

All this is done by a team of dedicated volunteers that give of their time and money to support the needed community work of Manna. There are 50 volunteers (plus 20 high school children) working the Street Program, and 10 volunteer people in the Breakfast Club.  Covering the whole of Manna there can be up to 100 volunteer people working in any one month.
